Sara, I love your site map! It is very clear and well-organized. It is easy to find what I might want to look at. And I like the repeated cloud shape, which of course goes along with the sun at the top.
I had not thought of putting in either privacy/security statements or podcasts in my site map. I'll have to give that some thought. Looks like a great start to a great project.
Also, I just wanted to tell you I do understand about your mom's illness. It's so hard to see them failing when we have relied on them for so long. I will pray for you -- for God to give you strength beyond your own.
Hi Sara, Here's some feedback on your site map. You generally want to make it a bit more visually inspired, so that images tell your visitors the story of what is in store for them as much as the diagram itself. Although I like the design elements you chose, think about a symbol for each area in your website that can be visited to inspire curiosity and convey a sense of depth and variety in your website. You don't need to revise it for your grade, but should consider these enhancements to ultimately use it in your website.
Good work! Looks like its coming along really well!
I really like the simplicity of your site map because everything is very clear and easy to follow. I also thought it was a cute touch with the sun and the clouds!
What I thought was the best idea that I'm going to start incorporating into my GLP is the whole "Directions" and "How to Participate" section. It makes SO much sense and I didn't even think about it for mine! So great work! :D
Sara- I loved the visual of your site map. The sun and clouds went together very well. I think your site has many good pages. I like how you have a feedback survey- that will help your GLP grow into a big success. I am sad to hear about your mom's struggle, but I am happy you get to spend this thanksgiving with her. I hope you have a good and blessed thanksgiving.
Sara, I enjoyed looking at your site map. It was easy to follow and highly visual. As always great work! The privacy and security settings were something that I did not think about. It goes with the "Digital Citizenship" we learned in Bacer's class.
I do have a couple questions for you. I mentioned I liked the idea of putting in privacy and security information. What will that involve for your site? What information will they get on that page?
Also, I was looking again and noticed your "evaluation ideas" page. What will that have on it?
I like how organized your site map is. It appears easy to navigate. I like the feedback survey idea, this would let you know if there are things you need to change. The podcast is a great way to start off and grab the attention of your participants. i had the same question as Karin about the privacy/security section. I was also wondering what you will put there.
